Domestic tourism spending in Fairfax County increased 3.4 percent in 2016 to $3.03 billion, the second-highest among all cities and counties in Virginia, narrowing the lead held by neighboring county, Arlington. Click here to read more.

The Virginia team at Connect Marketplace in New Orleans, LA this past August. This was the fourth time Visit Fairfax partnered with Virginia Tourism Corporation to host an "after hours" event. More than 225 planners attended the event, where everyone enjoyed Virginia wines and cuisine, as well as music by Virginia artists.

Ono Brewing Co. Opens in Chantilly
Ono Brewing Co., Fairfax County's 7th independent craft brewery, held its grand opening in Chantilly this past September with members of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority, and Visit Fairfax.
