The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors recently appointed Bryan Hill as county executive, replacing Ed Long, who retired this past fall. Visit Fairfax is looking forward to working with Mr. Hill to make Fairfax County's tourism industry as strong and vibrant as it can possibly be. Read the release here.
Cathay Pacific Airlines
Dulles Adds New International Nonstops to Rotation
Cathay Pacific Airlines will launch nonstop service between Hong Kong International Airport and Washington Dulles International Airport starting this September. The route will offer four flights per week, estimated to bring in nearly $30 million in direct and $52 million total economic impact annually to Virginia. Read the release here.
