Visit Fairfax first launched an interactive 360-degree virtual tour 12 years ago. We are proud to announce that we recently relaunched this interactive eMap with updated technology, VR capability, and new imagery. This is a great tool to paste into your sales proposals or link to from your website to help visitors explore the destination digitally and plan their trip to specific points of interest in the county. Fairfax County Restaurants Nominated for RAMMYs
Several Fairfax County restaurants are finalists for the 2018 RAMMY Awards, held each summer in Washington, DC. Congratulations to Trummer’s On Main, Clarity, and Taco Bamba, as well as Moby Dick House of Kabob and Silver Diner (each of which have multiple locations in the county). Paradise Springs Takes Home Gold
Congratulations to Paradise Springs Winery for taking home five gold medals in this year’s Virginia’s Governor’s Cup – one of the most prestigious wine awards in the state. It’s been a big year for Fairfax County’s original winery – they also just cut the ribbon on their newest tasting room in Santa Barbara, CA, making them the first bi-coastal wine brand in the United States. Pure Pasty Co. Wins World Championships
The Pure Pasty Co., located in Vienna, recently took home top honors at the World Pasty Championships in Cornwall, England, a first for America in this Britain-dominated competition. The Washington Post reports on the victory here. |
