Bryce Harper in County for Field Dedication
Visit Fairfax was on hand with the Fairfax County Park Authority when Washington Nationals outfielder and Home Run Derby winner Bryce Harper stopped by Herndon's Fred Crabtree Park during last month's All-Star Week. The newly-dedicated Bryce Harper All-Star Complex will serve as a beacon for youth baseball players in Northern Virginia. Read more about it here. |

German Tour Operators Visit Region
Visit Fairfax recently hosted a familiarization tour for German tour operators from DERTOUR and Meiers Weltreisen, two of Germany's largest operators for North America. Amazon HQ2 Could Mean Big Room Nights for DC Region
Greater Washington hotels could see hundreds of thousands more room-nights booked at their properties if Amazon locates its second headquarters here, according to data provided by the sought-after tech giant.
